Most weeks, the information a report needs already exists - scattered across five meeting transcripts and a scratched list of bullets. The writing is not the hard part; the retrieval is. That is the part a desktop agent takes off your hands.

| Question answered | Can an AI agent turn my meeting notes into a weekly report? |
| Short answer | Yes, and it is one of the more reliable jobs to hand a desktop agent, because the deliverable is a draft nobody has to trust blindly. |

The shape of the job
- Input: a dated folder holding transcripts, exported captions or your own notes, plus last week’s report as a style reference.
- Rule: the sections you actually use - shipped, in progress, blocked, decisions needed - and the level of detail, one line per item.
- Output: a draft where every line traces to a source file, plus a short list of unclear-from-notes items for you to resolve.
Transcription itself is routine now - the Web Speech API is a standard browser capability - which means raw text is rarely the bottleneck. Deciding what mattered this week is.
Traceability is the whole trick
A summary you cannot check is worse than no summary, because it reads as authoritative. So make references part of the rule: each line names the file it came from, and anything without a source is marked unverified instead of being smoothed over. With that in place, a wrong draft is a five-minute edit rather than a credibility problem. It also changes how the report reads - concrete, dated, boring in the right way.
What to keep manual
Keep the judgement calls: why a project slipped, anything that touches a customer or a person’s performance, and the framing of bad news. The agent is producing inventory, not interpretation. Send the draft yourself, and keep the source folder - next month’s draft gets better when it can read how you edited this month’s.
Start with one week
Pick a week you already have notes for and ask for a draft in the structure you use. If the first attempt is mediocre, the fix is almost always a sharper rule: one line per item, include the date and the owner beats summarize the week every time. MOOGH runs this pattern on Windows - local files, a plan you approve, a log you can read afterwards. Get it from the official download page.
